Indian Air Force (IAF) AFCAT Recruitment 2025

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification for AFCAT 01/2026 for recruitment in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty Branches (Technical & Non-Technical). A total of 340 vacancies are available under this recruitment drive.

The AFCAT 01/2026 Online Registration 2025 has begun on 17th November 2025 and will continue until 14th December 2025. Interested candidates are advised to carefully read the official notification before applying.

Eligibility Criteria

Education qualification

Flying Branch (AFCAT Entry):

Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with Physics & Mathematics at 12th level OR
BE/B.Tech Degree from a recognised University/ Institution in India.

Ground Duty Technical Branch:

Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics): 12th with Physics & Mathematics (50% marks) + 4-year Engineering/Integrated PG degree in Electronics/Aeronautical/Related field.
Aeronautical Engineering (Mechanical): 12th with Physics & Maths (50% marks) + 4-year Engineering/Integrated PG degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Aeronautical/Related field.

Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch

Administration & Logistics: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with 60% marks or equivalent.
Accounts: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) with 60% marks.
Education: MBA / MCA / MA / M.Sc. with 50% marks.
Meteorology: Master’s Degree in any stream.
NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch): NCC Air Wing Senior Division “C” Certificate with Flying Branch eligibility.

Physical Minimum Height Requirement:

Male: 157.5 cm
Female: 152 cm

Age Limit:

Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical Branches): 20 to 26 years
