Bihar BSSC Stenographer Recruitment 2025

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Stenographer / Steno Typist Grade – III. A total of 432 vacancies are available for this post. Interested candidates can apply online from 25 September 2025 to 21 November 2025 (extended). The minimum age required is 18 years, and the maximum age is 42 years (post-wise) as on 01 August 2025. Candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th) from a recognised board and should possess knowledge of stenography. The selection will be done through a written exam and a practical test, and the application fee is Rs. 100/- for all candidates.

Minimum Age: 18 years

Maximum Age: 37 Years (UR Male)

Maximum Age: 40 Years (UR Female)

Maximum Age: 40 Years (BC/ EBC Male, Female)

Maximum Age: 42 Years (SC/ ST Male, Female)

Bihar BSSC provides age relaxation for the Stenographer position as per their regulations.
