- First Class M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry / Soil Science / Environmental Science / Microbiology
- Graduation (B.Sc./B.S.) in any science discipline

Junior Environmental Engineer (JEE)
- M.Tech./M.E. in Environmental EngineeringOR
- First Class B.Tech./B.E. in Biotechnology / Chemical / Civil / Mining / Environmental / Textile Engineering
